By accessing or using ProFootballX ("the platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use any features of ProFootballX. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

2. Nature of the Platform

ProFootballX is a simulated entertainment platform. It is not a securities exchange, investment adviser, financial service, or sports betting operator. Team "shares" do not represent ownership in any real company, asset, or financial instrument. Participation does not constitute gambling as defined under applicable law.

ProFootballX is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NFL, CFL, or any of their member clubs. Team names are used for identification purposes only.

3. Deposits and Withdrawals

Users may deposit funds to participate in the simulated exchange and withdraw their remaining balance at any time. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. ProFootballX does not store payment card information. Deposits are used solely to fund your platform balance for simulated trading.

4. Refund Policy

Full refund within 30 days: If you are unsatisfied for any reason, you may request a full refund of all deposits made within the last 30 days by contacting us through the Support form. Refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically process within 5–10 business days.

After 30 days: Deposits older than 30 days are not eligible for a refund. Your remaining cash balance is always withdrawable at any time through the Withdraw function.

Platform errors: In the event of a duplicate charge or platform error, contact us immediately and we will issue a correction regardless of timeframe.

5. No Investment Advice

As required by US law, ProFootballX will collect your Social Security Number (SSN) or Tax Identification Number (EIN) if your total withdrawals in a calendar year reach or exceed $600. We will issue a Form 1099 to you and file it with the IRS as required. By providing your Tax ID, you confirm it is accurate and that you consent to its use for tax reporting purposes.

10. Dispute Resolution

Informal resolution: Before initiating any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us through the Support form and give us 30 days to resolve the dispute informally.

Binding arbitration: If the dispute is not resolved informally, you and ProFootballX agree to resolve it through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in Chicago, Illinois. The arbitrator's decision is final and binding.

No class actions: You may only bring claims against ProFootballX in your individual capacity. You waive any right to bring or participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding.

Small claims exception: Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court in Cook County, Illinois, provided it qualifies under that court's jurisdictional limits.

Governing law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
